While pathFinal Fantasy has converted many feats (Both for use under elephant in the room and for internal compatibility), it is not logistically feasable for every feat that exists in 1st party pathfinder to be converted as well, despite the fact that all 1st party pathfinder feats are considered to be compatible with pathFinal Fantasy (Though, certain feats such as Spell Mastery or the various "Channel" feats cannot be used with pFF due to the required class feature not existing). In addition to this, pathFinal Fantasy does not necessarily have the same classes as regular pathfinder. As such a "class equivalence chart" that details what pathFinal Fantasy classes count as which pathfinder classes, is detailed bellow.
Converting Feats
Converting a feat for use in pathFinal Fantasy is actually quite simple. You simply need to check the feat's prerequisites against the following table and use the replacement feat instead. If the replacement feat is listed as "None", then that prerequisite is simply ignored.
| Original Feat | Replacement Feat |
| Agile Maneuvers | Agile Combatant |
| Combat Expertise | None |
| Deadly Aim or Power Attack | None |
| Endurance | Toughness |
| Improved Bull Rush, Improved Drag, Improved Overrun or Improved Sunder | Powerful Maneuvers |
| Improved Disarm, Improved Feint or Improved Trip | Deft Maneuvers |
| Improved Dirty Trick, Improved Reposition or Improved Steal (and sometimes Improved Feint) | Tricksters Maneuvers |
| Improved Unarmed Strike, Improved Grapple | Unarmed Combatant |
| Improved Two-Weapon Fighting | Greater Two-Weapon Fighting |
| Pathfinder version of Greater Two-Weapon Fighting | Greater Two-Weapon Fighting, BaB +11 |
| Mobility | Dodge |
| Stand Still | Powerful Maneuvers |
| Throw Anything | Catch Off-Guard |
| Weapon Finesse | None |
| Favoured Enemy or Favoured Terrain (Class Feature) | Favoured Hunt (Class Feature) |
Whenever a feat would require you to use the Power Attack or Deadly Aim feats, instead you use the Power Attack combat maneuver and whenever a feat would require you to use the Combat Expertise feat, instead you use the Defensive Stance combat maneuver and whenever you would be required to use the Stand Still feat, instead you use the Hamstring maneuver. (See the combat page for details of these maneuvers).
Weapon Focus
Weapon Focus prerequisites function a little differently. Whenever a feat would require weapon focus with a specific weapon, instead you only need weapon focus with a weapon group that weapon is a part of. If a feat requires weapon focus with a specific weapon by name (Such as Fencing Grace), then that feat still only functions with that weapon. However, if a feat just requires weapon focus as a way to signify a particular weapon (Such as Warning Shot), then that feat functions with any weapon from the chosen weapon group, provided you are proficient with it.
Class Equivalence chart
Some feats require you to have levels in a particular class in order to qualify for them. As pathFinal Fantasy uses its own selection of classes, the following chart details which pFF classes count as which pathfinder class. It should be noted that many pFF classes borrow traits of multiple pathfinder classes, and as such can count as multiple classes for the purposes of feats.
Any features that have been renamed but otherwise function as the base pathfinder version count as the base pathfinder ability. For example, Black Belts qualify for Pummeling Style as Martial Flurry is functionally identical to Brawler's Flurry.
The same is also true of abilities that have the same name and general function, even if they're a little different. For example, the Red Mage's arcane pool is more of a hybrid of a swashbuckler's panache points and a magus' arcane pool. The red mage can still take base pathfinder feats that require him to have an arcane pool.
| pathFinal Fantasy Class | Pathfinder Equivalent |
| Red Mage | Magus |
| Red Mage (Path of the Duelist only) | Magus and Swashbuckler |
| Thief | Rogue |
| Warrior | Fighter |
| Black Belt | Brawler |
