Standard Racial Traits
Ability Score Racial Traits: Nu Mou are well versed in magical theory, but physically frail. Nu Mou gain a +2 bonus to any two mental ability scores (Int, Wis or Cha) of their choice, but they take a -2 penalty to Constitution and Dexterity.
Type: Nu Mou are Humanoids with the Nu Mou subtype.
Size: Nu Mou are Medium creatures and thus receive no bonuses or penalties due to their size
Base Speed: Nu Mou have a base speed of 20 feet
Languages: Nu Mou speak Common and any one language of their choice. Nu Mou with high intelligence scores may choose any language as a bonus language.
Feat and Skill Racial Traits:
Scholarly Ways: Nu Mou are, one and all, scholars par excellence and are always learning new things. Nu Mou gain an additional skill rank at first level and one additional rank whenever they gain a level. This skill rank can only be spent on Knowledge skills or the Spellcraft skill.
Wild Talent: All nu mou are naturally magically gifted, gaining Wild Talent as a bonus feat, granting them an MP pool of 2. If the nu mou takes levels in a class with a magic pool, they instead gain the Magic Talent feat.
Magical Racial Traits:
Skillful Mage: Once per minute, a nu mou can cast a spell or use any other ability that requires him to spend MP (such as pseudomagic) as though his caster level were 1 higher than it actually is. This ability does not allow a nu mou to cast spells/passive augmentations or use abilities he otherwise couldn’t, it merely improves spells or abilities he can already cast or use.
Prestidigitation (Sp): Nu Mou are trained from birth in the most basic skills of magic. Even if they do not master it in later life, this training is still ingrained into them. All nu mou can cast Prestidigitation once every five rounds as a spell-like ability. Their caster level for this cantrip is equal to their character level.
Offense Racial Traits:
Magickal Technique: Nu Mou gain a +1 bonus on attack rolls when making an attack, touch attack or ranged touch attack with a spell or other ability that requires him to spend MP (such as pseudomagic).
Favoured Class Bonus:
Beastmaster: Add +1/4 to handle animal checks related to magical beasts.
Black Mage: Add +1/3 to your caster level to determine your bonus MP.
Chemist: Add +1/3 to the save DC of a mix when using the throatclose fumes reagent.
Red Mage: Add +1/6 to the caster level boost provided by ruby acceleration.
Thief: Gain +1/4th of a new major magic thief talent. You do not need to meet the prerequisites for this talent.
Time Mage: Add +1/3 to your caster level to determine your bonus MP.
White Mage: Add +1/3 to your caster level to determine your bonus MP.
