At 1st level, a Bard selects a College of Performance. This determines the bard’s role in general, although it never limits him from branching out. At 1st level and each even level thereafter, the Bard takes a bonus song from the College’s list, and gains special bonuses as listed inside each college. These bonuses come into effect at 1st, 9th, and 17th level.
Songstress’ Whims
Songstresses are followers of mighty Aeons, and their songs pay homage to their legacy and valour, even calling upon their might in dire times.
Associated Perform: Singing
At 1st level, a Songstress’ Whims Bard may learn and cast ritual spells of any school, treating ¼ of their bard level as Summoner levels for this purpose (minimum 1). and may always substitute a Perform Singing check for any other required skill check, even if the ritual spell does not normally allow Perform as an acceptable choice. If an Aeon has a related song, the Bard needs to know the Song before learning the Ritual. The Bard gains MP as if a summoner for the purpose of rituals and calls.
Additionally, when casting a ritual spell, a Bard may spend MP equal to the caster level of the ritual (The Bard may spend a lesser amount, but the ritual would likewise be reduced in caster level) to either perform the ritual's main effect as a full-round action, making only a single skill check regardless of how many skill checks it normally needs, or to make use of the ritual's calling effect. A Bard that uses a calling effect in this manner may use the call as a standard action, instead of a full-round action.
At 9th level, the Bard selects one Ritual. For that ritual alone, they count ½ their bard levels as summoner levels.
At 17th level, if an Aeon has a related song, the Bard can perform that song as part of the ritual. If the Bard has Tempo, and uses the song as an Ender, the Bard gains 1 temporary MP for the purposes of that ritual alone.
Valhalla’s Warlords
Warlords are Bards who battle alongside their companions, granting fire and fury to allies, and the flames of defeat to their foes
Associated Perform: Wind Instruments
At 1st level, a Valhalla’s Warlord Bard gains access to a unique song he can use equal to 3 + their charisma modifier times a day, as a [Intro] or [Tempo].
Call Of Valhalla
[Intro] [Tempo]
Range: 30 feet
Target: 1 Allied creature per bonus in your Charisma Modifier
Effect: A willing ally targeted by the Call of Valhalla, may enter Rage, as if they were a Berserker, following all the rules and restrictions of that ability. They treat half the bard’s level as their berserker level for the purposes of the feature. This lasts for a number of rounds equal to the bard's charisma modifier
At 9th and 17th level, the Bard chooses a rage talent. The bard treats ½ of their bard levels as Berserker levels for these talents, and grants them to anyone who enters rage via Call Of Valhalla
Unsent Guide
Unsent Guides are Bards who lead undead of many kinds into battle, bolstering them with immense power.
Associated Perform: Oratory
At 1st level, whenever the Bard summons undead by songs, he may apply morale bonuses from class features, such as Battle Tempo, to those undead, as if they were living, bypassing their immunity to morale bonus.
At 9th level, the Bard conjures an additional undead of the same kind whenever he summons undead by songs.
At 17th level, He can sustain buffs on two undead, as if they are one living creature, effectively doubling their maximum buffs sustained.
The Black Mages
While named after the more traditional blasting mages, The Black Mages are in fact bards, of a much more aggressive, heavy metal nature.
Associated Perform: String
At 1st level, Black Mage bards gain proficiency in medium and heavy armour as well as all weapons in the Axes weapon group.
At 9th level, they can count a college song as 2 tempo gained rather than one, a number of times a day equal to 3 + charisma modifier
At 17th level, all college songs count as 2 tempo gained.
