Bards that prefer to join the front lines of combat, and aid allies more directly are known as the Warsong. Warsongs blend swordplay and songs much similarly to a Red Mage
Warsong is an archetype of Bard
Armor Training
Warsongs are proficient in Medium armour, as well as 3 martial weapons of their choice.
This ability modifies weapon and armor proficiencies
Diminished Spellweaving (Su)
Warsongs trade out weave prowess for martial prowess. Warsongs begin play with 2 verses and 1 chorus, and gain access to later levels of Choruses later. Warsongs can learn level 2 Choruses at level 6, Level 3 Choruses at level 11 and Level 4 Choruses at level 16. Warsongs cannot learn level 5 Choruses or Verses. Otherwise, the Warsong follows the Spellweaving Feature, Choruses known - 1 and Verses known - 1.
This ability modifies Spellweaving.
Chorus Combat (Ex)
Warsongs can make a full-round action to make a full attack alongside a Chorus or Verse. The attacks and spellweaving can be used in any order, and the Warsong can take a 5 foot step once during the full attack as normal. The Warsong does not provoke for spellweaving in Chorus Combat
This replaces Bardic Knowledge, Lore Master at 5th level, Armored Performer and Battle Verse
Songblade (Ex)
At 11th level, whenever the Warsong uses Chorus Combat, any attacks in the full round also apply the bonus normally granted by Battle Tempo to their own attacks. This does not stack with Battle Tempo itself.
At 17th level, whenever the Warsong uses Chorus Combat, each attack counts as a verse for the purposes of Earshredding Ballad
This replaces Lore Master at 11th and 17th level
