An earth medusa can focus her stony gaze upon a single target within 30 feet. The target receives the Petrify status (Fortitude save DC 19 to negate). Blue mages may learn this ability as a 4th level spell (Knowledge: Local DC 23).
Petrifying Gaze (Su)
2/day, an earth medusa turns it victims to stone permanently within a 30-ft.-cone radius. Everyone within the effect must make a Fortitude DC 22 to negate the Petrify Status effect. This is a gaze attack. The save DC is Charisma-based.
Poison (Ex)
Bite—injury; save Fort DC 24; frequency 1/round for 6 rounds; effect 1d4 Str; cure 2 consecutive saves. The save DC is Constitution-based.
Stone Breath (Su)
Once every 1d4+1 rounds, an earth medusa can breath out a dry gray breath hitting all those within a 30-ft. cone. The targets within the area of effect will receive the Petrify status (Fortitude save DC 22 to negate). Blue mages may learn this ability as a 7th level spell (Knowledge: Local DC 31).
